I am a BirchBox member so every month I get a box with about 4-5 products to try, ranging from a new pen, to a new eyeliner and everything in between. Similar to Influenster in a way, BirchBox is providing the member with their favorite products, new or old to try, in hopes of an increase in sales, or just awareness. The major differences between Influenster and BirchBox is the BirchBox is mainly beauty products, it costs $10 a month, and you are not required to review the products and post pictures (although it still would help).
I just received my June BirchBox and in it was BirchBox+Color Club Nail Polish, Juicy Couture Couture La La perfume, Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk, Mirenesse Glossy Kiss Lipstick, & 100% Pure Nourishing Body Cream. I haven’t tried all the products just yet, but the two that I tried, I love! The Klorane Dry Shampoo is amazing.
Klorane’s dry shampoo is quite amazing. It’s been praised by longtime customers like Diane Kruger and Gwenyth Paltrow for it’s versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser. In addition, it was named Allure’s best of Beauty Award. It’s pure botanical formula that attracts me.
Made with softening oat milk extracts, plus corn and rice starches, this ultra-fine powder spray leaves nary a trace of residue behind. It performs many different actions. It soaks up oil and sweat from your roots and helps revive second day hair, it amps up volume and helps extend the life of blowouts, and you can also use it as a texturing aide when you’re trying to perfect an updo. We love taking it with us to the gym for a post-workout hair refresher, and it’s great for times when we’re on the road.
I also received, new-to-the-U.S. lipstick pencils from hip Aussie brand Mirenesse. The bold, glossy hues are a no-fail way to add polish to any ensemble, and the long-lasting formula stays high-impact for hours (it really does last ALL DAY) Bonus: Each pencil doubles as a dreamy cheek stain.
A cross between a lip stain and hydrating balm, each wax-based hue glides on smoothly and stays true for hours. Made without harmful parabens or drying alcohol, the gentle formula relies on healing glycerin to boost moisture and keep lips soft. The wearable shades include Flirty Kiss, a true red; Quick Kiss, a daring orange; Cheeky Kiss, a beige-toned pink; and Perfect Kiss, a soft coral with subtle shimmer. After using Mirenesse lipstick pencils, I would never go back to wearing lip gloss again. Even though it’s a little more expensive than lipstick you find at the drugstore, it’s worth it! Try it today and let us know what you think!
